Overview & Background
The Skills Funding Agency and the Student Loans Company (SLC) were commissioned by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) to work together to deliver and operate a loans service for FE for eligible learners starting Learning Aims from the 1st August 2013.
SLC are responsible for the business to business administration systems and processes between SLC and Providers. The Learning Provider Portal is used to manage these interactions.
The Learning Provider Portal is accessible through the Learning Provider Services website (http://lpservices.slc.co.uk/).

What to do if your ID becomes locked
After the initial login you will only provide the username allocated to you and the password and secret answer you will create from your first time login.
If you enter your password or secret answer incorrectly 3 times your User Id will be locked out.
If this happens please contact the User Administrator within your organisation to have your password and secret answer re-set.
Click on the Next button to begin the simulation.
In the Administer User screen you can create and administer users, re-set passwords, add/remove user roles and expire accounts.
In the Learning Provider details screen you can view the information held for your organisation.
You can also create and administer the contacts held for your organisation.
The home Icon will return you to this home page.
Learning Provider Details
You can view the details of your organisation by selecting the Learning Provider Details tab.
In this section of the system you can also view a list of contacts within your organisation. Each contact is assigned one or more roles. This is to enable SLC to identify the most appropriate user to contact in regards to queries. This list can be maintained by the User Administrator within your organisation.

User Administration
The Learning Provider Portal includes a facility to create and maintain users within your organisation.
This function is only available to users within your organisation who have a User Administrator Role.
